Troubleshooting: Document or photo upload fails

Uploads fail, wrong file type, or documents not appearing where expected.

  • Upload fails or spins forever – Check your internet connection. Try a smaller file or a different format (e.g. PDF or common image types). Ensure you're under the organisation’s storage limit (see plan/settings).
  • Wrong file type – Use the allowed types shown on the upload control (e.g. PDF, JPG, PNG). Convert the file if necessary and try again.
  • File too large – Reduce file size (e.g. compress images or PDFs) or use a different document.
  • Uploaded but not visible – Refresh the page. For property/lease docs, check the correct tab in Vault (e.g. Compliance, Tenant docs, Property docs) or the relevant property/lease details page.
